Cards for birthday

These were made for my grandchildren's birthdays.
This first one was from the Cars cartridge. Mac was cut at 3.5". The paper was from DCWV Shimmer Stack and scraps from my stash. The card was a regular A2 sized card.

This was cut from the Hoot 'n' Holler Cricut Lite Cartridge. She is cut at 2.5". Paper is from Scrappy Cat and local scrapbook store. Ribbon is sticky back from Darice.

This was cut from Pooh and Friends Cartridge. I can't remember all the details of this one I made for my son. I forgot to write it down before I mailed it out.

This was made for my uncle from the Sweet Treats Cartridge. The "happy birthday" and card base is from Beyond Birthdays Cart.

Tacky Tuesday Challenge

This is the card I made for Tacky Tuesday Challenge.
The chick from Simply Charmed cut at 2.7"
the umbrella from Create-a-Critter cut at 2.5"
paper from DCWV
ribbon and bling from Michael's
google eyes from my stash
I love how she turned out!
This without the googly eyes.
This is with her eyes!

Thank you cards

I got the Gypsy for Christmas, but had to learn how to use it. I watched some videos on You tube and got fairly comfortable making a few cards. Here are some window cards I made.
The card base was from Gypsy Wanderings. I used the one of the Decor tags at 4.25". I made 2 of them, flipped 1 of them, moved them together, and welded them. I then took the rounded square tag and place it on the right side to make a window. Then I used the font from Gypsy Font and spelled out "thank you". Since I needed the "you" part a little bigger to touch the frame, I replaced the "o" with a flower from Gypsy Wanderings. That was all welded together. I cut the flower and the thank you a second time to glue on top.
After it was all cut out, I glued a piece of acetate on the inside.
The paper was from Scrappy Cat.
I was really pleased with the results.

The next one  was done almost the same way. A decor tag and "thanks" from Gypsy Wanderings.
I put Glossy Accents on the Thanks to make it stand out. Again the paper was from Scrappy Cat.

This next one I used a card base and thank you from Beyond Birthdays and the flowers are from Plantin Schoolbook. The paper is from K and Company.

My Cards

I love to make cards for my family and friends. What I don't do too well is blog about the cards I make. I started my first blog almost a year ago in April on National Scrapbooking Day. I wasn't very consistent and only posted a few of the many cards I made. So I started a new blog and hope to start fresh. Well I am challenging myself to post on this blog at least twice a week. I have learned some things over the last year. I have followed many very talented ladies and hope I can do half as well.
