Sunshine

I so love sunshine! I love spring with all the new life popping out all around.

This is the latest card I have been working on. It will be entered into 5 challenges.

The card base is from a pack of cardstock from Michael's. It was 8.5 x 11 in. I cut it in half to make a 4.25 x 5.5 in. card. All three patterned papers are from my stash.

For the flowers I cut one strip at 1 x 12 in. and one strip at 1.25 x 12 in. I used the MS scoreboard and scored them every 1/4 in. I then fan folded them and glued the ends together. I glued the flower to a circle base. I punched out two 1 in. circles from EK Success and stamped them with PK-570 Basic Paper Doll Faces. I used a white gel pen and faux stitched around the circles. I stamped a swirl in green for the stems.

I punched the top of the dotted paper with the Fiskars Threading Waters Punch. The ribbon is adhesive back ribbon from my local craft store. http://www.patcatans.com/

The butterflies are from a MS Butterfly Punch that has 3 clear stamps. I punched four butterflies and glued the center of two to the other two. I stamped the top ones and then put Star Dust Stickles on them.

I cut a .75 inch strip of green paper and glued it to the bottom. The sentiment was stamped with StazOn Jet Black ink with a clear stamp from Michael's ( I can't remember the set name). I added three green rhinestones in the lower left. I hope you like it.

Bunny Cut from Birthday Bash Cart. or similar & "hop"

Here is my Card:

The base of my card is from Color Mate-Medium Spring Green cut at 4.25 x 12". I scored it using MS Scoreboard at 3.5" and 7". I cut a piece of paper from the Spring Glitter Matstack 2009 at 3.25 x 4". I tied a pink ribbon on it and glued it to the front. I cut another piece of cardstock from Darice Premium Cardstock at 4 X 5.25" and glued it to the inside.
Since I don't have the Birthday Bash Cart., I used the Simply Charmed Cart. bunny on page 34 cut at 3". I stamped her face with the PK-570 Basic Paper Doll Face 3/4".  I cut a circle from Layer 4 shift on page 38. I cut one in white using "real dial size" at 1.75" and one in pink and one in white at 2.5".
I used a MS punch for the green glitter paper and glued it behind the white circle. I printed the sentiment on my computer. The ribbon is from Michael's.

I glued the pink circle to the front and the larger white circle on the inside directly under the pink. I pop the bunny up on foam tape and put her on the front. I think it turned out cute!
